Junk foods, French fries, and the like may make you feel like you’re on top of the world, but the feeling won’t last long. These foods may satisfy your cravings, but only for a time. After that, you will feel bloated, heavy, without energy.
Jumpstarting your day with fruits and what bread, however, will have a different effect. These foods have vitamins and nutrients that truly energize. They are also easier to digest, and tummy-friendlier, so you don’t get that feeling of fullness. Snacking on nuts is a good idea as these have Omega-3 fatty acids, the essential fatty acids your body (sad to say) does not produce. Nuts can make you smart, too. Benefits of omega 3 fatty extend beyond heart health, apparently. As a matter of fact, these essential fatty acids have also been discovered to contribute greatly to brain development. Pregnant moms are now encouraged to take omega 3 supplements during pregnancy for this purpose. It is also good for children to take omega 3 as this helps them with their studies.
Fish is another wonderful addition to one’s diet. Eating steamed fish two to three times is very ideal. Not only is fish rich in proteins, it also contains Omega 3 fatty acids. You must include greens in your diet, too. Green and leafy vegetables are always recommended to maintain well being. Vegetables are high in fiber which helps your body’s metabolism. They cleanse your digestive system, ridding it of toxins and harmful substances that may clog your colon and cause a variety of disorders.
Be prudent; love your body. You’ll have a better appreciation of your life when you know that what causes high cholesterol levels in women is embarking on a rather unhealthy diet.
